FREE Wine Tasting

Our next tasting has come round again and we are returning to the ‘home’ of wine, France, and looking at one of it’s most famous regions, Burgundy and it’s near neighbour, Beaujolais. The chief varietals are Chardonnay & Pinot Noir, with the lesser-known Gamay grape used for Beaujolais. Not at the ‘cheaper’ end of the scale, but classic wines that many other countries attempt to emulate.
We will taste a cross-section of styles to hopefully show the regional variations. Two whites and three reds, including two new arrivals, for your commentary. All of these wines are great during the warmer months, when fresher, lighter styles can be enjoyed and matched with many foods.

As always, this is a free walk-in tasting in store at The Village Vine. Join us anytime from 2.30pm til 7pm and taste 6 different wines…

All tasting wines will be 10% off on the day, although there is no obligation to buy.
