Join us in-store anytime from 2.30pm til 7pm this Saturday for our own mini Wine World Cup! We’ll have six wines for you to try, all from countries involved in the World Cup 2014 in Brazil.

Pitting two whites, the English New Hall Pinot Gris & the Italia Castel Firman Pinot Grigio, against two Rose wines, French Chateau D’Ollieres & the Spanish Conde De Valdemar and matching up the Argentinian Cecchin Cabernet Sauvignon against the Chilean Novas Carmenere/Cabernet Sauvignon.

Who will come out on top? Only you can try and decide!

As usual, the tasting is completely free with no obligation to buy anything on the day. If you do take a fancy to any of the wines, there will be 10% off all of the tasting wines.

On Saturday 27th April, we’ll be visiting Chile – with 5 wines from the South American country.

Spanish Wine Tasting this Saturday!

Spanish Wine TastingWe have lined up an exciting range of wines this month for a Spanish Wine Tasting! Hopefully sunny Spanish wines will cheer you up after an unforgettable summer…(again..!)

We’re always striving to find new, quality-led, interesting wines from lesser-known areas so this month we have chosen 6 from the north-west and north-east of Spain.

The tasting will be THIS Saturday, Saturday 15th September!

Most are from local varieties, showing the best from these regions. 5 of them are new arrivals!

Remember, in order to spread the wines evenly, they are limited to 2 bottles (of each) max. purchase on the day. Of course, they will be available (in varying quantity) thereafter. And don’t forget all tasting wines will be 10% off during the day.

Also, as usual, many Bin-Ends and Offers to check-out… ‘genuine discounts’ and all very drinkable of course!

As usual we’ll kick-off around 2pm and end up at 7pm. It’s a “free, walk-in” tasting and a good chance to sample something ‘new’, or perhaps a bit different from your normal choice.

International Wine Challenge GoldOur next monthly wine tasting is this weekend, Saturday 11th August!

As usual, it’s a free walk-in tasting and this weekend we’ll be celebrating some European wines that have won medals and trophies. There’ll be 1 Rose, 2 White wines and 3 Red wines available!

We’ll be revealing the wines on the day, but we can guarantee that they will lift your spirits after somewhat of a damp summer so far…

There’s 10% off all tasting wines on the day.

New World Wine Tasting Today!

New World Wine TastingFrom 1pm to 7pm we will be having another Wine Tasting today – 13th November 2010! All wines that are out for tasting will have 10% reduced today only!

There are 5 tasting wines. From our new White Wines, we will have the Villa Vieja Viognier from Argentina (£7.95) and the Yalumba Eden Valley Chardonnay from Australia (£10.95).

We will have three Red Wines, the Villa Vieja Tempranillo/Bonarda from Argentina (£6.95), Masi “Passo Doble” Malbec/Corvina (£9.95) and the Ferngrove Symbols Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot from Australia (£9.95).
